At the “Taking Your Dreams from Design to Destiny”<\/strong>\u00a0Conference on 1.15.11\u00a0participants\u00a0were given\u00a0an opportunity to\u00a0go through the\u00a07 \u00a0steps below\u00a0and to create a draft of their Success Plans to take it to the next level in\u00a02011!\u00a0 We started last week with step 1(see above post date 1.12.11). Over the next six weeks\u00a0I am going to continue to share\u00a0the SEVEN practical steps <\/strong>to achieving your goals and ultimately your Vision of Success<\/strong>.\u00a0\u00a0 This week we are on Step 2.<\/p>\n

Step 1-Find and Clarify your Vision of Success<\/strong><\/p>\n

Step 2-Define Your Goals Clearly<\/strong><\/p>\n

Step 3-See\/Visualize Yourself Achieving Your Goals\/Vision of Success<\/strong><\/p>\n

Step 4-Make a Clear Plan With a Timeline<\/strong><\/p>\n

Step 5-Chart your Progress<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong>Step 6-Enjoy Your Success!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Step 7-Give Back.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This Week’s Step: #<\/strong>2-Define your Goal Clearly<\/strong><\/p>\n

Not all wishes are goals.\u00a0 Goals must be:<\/p>\n

A)\u00a0 Realistic, something you can achieve.\u00a0<\/p>\n

B)\u00a0\u00a0 You must deeply desire your goal.\u00a0 Napoleon Hill, the author of\u00a0\u201cThink and Grow Rich\u201d said. “The starting point of all achievement is desire. Keep this constantly in mind. Weak desires bring weak results, just as a small amount of fire makes a small amount of heat.”<\/strong><\/p>\n

C) <\/strong>A goal must be clearly defined.\u00a0 Shakti Gawain in her book \u201cCreative Visualization,\u201d states, \u201cAs soon as I have a very clear, strong intention to create a particular thing, it manifests almost immediately\u2026<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Writing your goals down is very important and gives them more power than just thinking or imagining your success.<\/p>\n

Try this Success Coaching Exercise…<\/strong><\/p>\n

Using your ideal scenario from step 1 pull out\u00a0concrete goals that must be achieved to complete your ideal vision of success. For example if your ideal scenario said something like ” I have a successful thriving business that sells antiques.” then one goal might be “secure loan” or “rent store” or “get certification as an antiques dealer” You get the picture. Don’t worry about the timeline for accomplishing these milestones yet…that comes later. For now just write down your goals and read them to yourself.<\/p>\n
