On August 11 Vision Quest Retreats (VQR) and Blogalicious teamed up to host “Unleash Your Social Media Butterfly” VIP pool party. It was a combo of the VQR Powerful Women Networking Event Series and a #BlogaDC meet up. It was gorgeous sunny day of pampering, brand building and networking with amazing women.
The sponsors were fabulous! A generous spread of delicious food from Whole Foods Rockville, dessert from Dolci Gelati (hazelnut, coffee and strawberry lavender gelato!) Relaxing chair massages were provided by Sante Wellness Center, Silver Spring and luxurious manicures provided by Maisie Dunbar Spa Lounge also in Silver Spring, MD.
After networking, noshing, pampering and lounging by the pool Stacey Ferguson, Chief Curator of Blogalicious presented 5 Ways to Increase Clients, Generate Revenue & Enhance Your Social Media Profile.
I facilitated the Vision Circle. The ladies present introduced themselves, told us a bit about their work and visions then we did a guided meditation; borrowing from Shakti Gawain’s the Pink Bubble technique from her book Creative Visualization.
